How long should I cycle my BiOrb?
This process is called the ‘cycle’ and will take about 28 days for one small goldfish. This is potentially a risky time for the fish and the level of ammonia should be minimised by introducing a small fish and not feeding too much. Even so, some fish may not cope with life in very new aquariums.

Is biOrb worth the money?
The biOrb is a beautiful tank and the lighting makes it look fantastic, especially at night. However, if your interest is in keeping several fish happy and clean, I would not recommend this tank. It’s a great decorative aquarium for one or two fish, but any more than that, you’ll be taxing the anemic filtration system.

Your airstone should be replaced every 4-8 weeks after which their effectiveness diminishes as calcification occurs due to the hard water in your aquariums.
