Should I read Eisenhorn before Ravenor?
Ravenor (novel #1) It’s worth reading the Eisenhorn novels first if you can, but if not then this would still be a decent place to start, and the Ravenor trilogy has its own unique voice that some readers prefer to Eisenhorn.
Is Eisenhorn a radical?
Gregor Eisenhorn is an Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos. Initially a Puritan of the Amalathian faction, Eisenhorn’s Inquisitorial ideology would alter over the course of his career so dramatically towards the philosophy of Radical Xanthism that other members of the Inquisition consider him a possible Heretic.

The Ravenor series isn’t as good as Eisenhorn, but then again, nothing else from the Dan Abnett or BL is as good as Eisenhorn. That’s top of the heap. But Ravenor is an enjoyable read nonetheless. Recommended.
Is Eisenhorn a traitor?

Is Ravenor vs Eisenhorn a good start to the series?
While the sequel Ravenor was a bit weaker it’s still one of my favorites, so after several years I was really psyked for Ravenor vs Eisenhorn. And… it’s a good start, but it really feels like a padded prologue and not a stand-alone story.
What is Bequin vs Ravenor?
The Bequin series was originally pitched as “Eisenhorn vs Ravenor” – it’s even on the cover to this short story – and that’s exactly what this particular story deals with. It’s an opportunity to catch up with both inquisitors before the main series kicks off, giving an idea of where each of them stands in terms of loyalty and attitude.
Is the Ravin a good crossbow to buy?
This crossbow offers everything a crossbow hunter is looking for. It is fast, quiet and notably the most compact crossbow on the market. When cocked, the Ravin is only 6-inches axle to axle so whether hunting from a treestand or a blind, the Ravin is a joy to handle.
