What is an E27 lamp shade fitting?
E27 fittings are compatible with ES bulbs (large Edison Screw) and tend to fit wider, 42mm European lamp holders. The handy thing is, most E27 fittings (including ours) come with a removable plastic ring – a reducer – which easily converts back to E14.
What is reversible gimble?
Reversible Gimble: Refers to the fixed arm shade support arms which can be bent up (reversed) in the middle to convert the shade to be hung from the ceiling. Lamp Holder: The Brass or Plastic part that the bulb fits into. There are two main types, UK- Bayonet bulb and Euro – Edison Screw bulb.
