What is TEA snapshot?
Snapshot is a Texas Education Agency (TEA) product that provides general information about the characteristics of public school districts in Texas. Published since 1987–88, Snapshot presents a wide variety of information in a consistent format from year to year.
What does Tapr mean?
The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status.
What is the AEIS report?
The Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports provide a great deal of performance information about every public school and district in the state. These reports also provide extensive profile information about staff, finances, and programs.

AskTED is the online Texas Education Directory (TED). AskTED is the primary source used by TEA and other agencies to direct communications to the school’s administration and board. TEA expects the school’s administrators to keep AskTED updated so they may receive timely information from the state agencies.
