Chessington World of Adventures Resort is open all year so you can enjoy ROARSOME family fun from January to December.
Can you enter Chessington before 10am?
DO I GET ACCESS TO EARLY RIDE TIME? Absolutely, Early Ride Time is available for all guests staying in the Resort Hotels with a main Theme Park Short Break package (between 17th March – 30th October 2022). You’ll have access to the Theme Park and Zoo from 9am, and select rides and attractions from 9.30am- 10am!
Why is Chessington closed?
Following a steady rise in Covid-19 cases across the UK, Chessington has once again closed to the public. Following the reimplementation of the UKs Lockdown strategy, all leisure activities have been ordered to close. Including the Zoo, Hotels and Resort Theme Park.
What time do the rides start at Chessington?
During the main season, we aim to open all of the rides at the same time as the park (generally at 10am). There may be occasions when certain rides are unavailable – of course we try and keep this to a minimum.

Can I wear flip flops at Chessington?
4 answers. Yes you can but on some of the rides such as vampire they will ask you to take them off. Your feet may also get wet on some rides. I would generally suggest trainers for comfort.
Is Chessington better than Legoland?
Legoland is geared towards younger, primary school aged kids. Chessington is geared more towards middle school aged children, and Thorpe Park is for high school age and above. Again, go to the websites and have a look at the height restrictions.

Is Chessington busy on a Friday?
Thursday and Tuesday are often the best days to go for shorter queues, while Sunday and Saturday tend to be the busiest. The most popular months are typically August, July and April, while December, January and March are normally quieter. To get the most out of your day we recommend arriving early and leaving late.

Yes, that’s right, unlike many other theme parks Chessington is still a really worthwhile family day out in the winter. Who goes free at Chessington?
Visitors under 3 years of age enter Chessington World of Adventures Resort free of charge and will therefore not need a local resident’s ticket or pre-booked ticket. Visitors under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years of age or over.
Do you get wet at Chessington?
You do get wet through but in this heat you dry up pretty quick so I wouldn’t bother with a change of clothes. If you are worried you can get a light poncho. Or else for some of the rides you should choose a seat where you don’t get so wet.

If you want to do everything I.e all the rides,sea life centre ,Zoo,petting zoo,and the shows then you’ll need two days . over a year ago. Two days would be best to visit CWA if you are people who enjoy rides. Weekends are pretty busy and time is spent just queuing.
