Is Croome House open?
Croome is open. You no longer need to book in advance. Our Cafe and Shop are open 10:00 – 17:00 daily. The Court is open 11:00 – 16:30, and the RAF Museum is open 11:00 – 16:00.

How many acres is Croome Park?
The current Croome Visitor Centre and restaurant is housed in the Second World War hospital. In 1948 the Croome Estate Trust sold the Court along with 38 acres of land to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. The mansion became St Joseph’s School for boys which was run by nuns from 1950 until 1979.
Do you have to pay to walk around Croome?
The walk encompasses woodland, lakeside, ornamental lake and meadows and there is seating scattered on the walk. Membership or entry fee is required.

We love dogs at Hanbury and they are welcome on leads in the forecourt, stableyard and parkland. Our Park is home to lots of wildlife ranging from the common field mouse to magnificant birds of prey, as well as the farm animals we have grazing in the parkland.

We welcome dogs here at Chartwell and they are welcome in all outdoor areas. Please keep your dog on a short lead throughout the gardens. When we do not have live stock on site, you are welcome to allow your dogs off the lead when walking through the wider estate, if kept under close supervision.
