Should you paint your headers?
The paint is only intended to protect the metal before it’s installed. Once the headers are installed and ran, the paint will burn off. High Temp Painted Headers are available. However, in most cases, you will need to strip the shipping paint and apply your own High Temp Paint to protect the headers.
