Why is the episode called bit by a dead bee?
Trivia. The episode title refers to a quote from the film To Have and Have Not (1944); “‘stung’ by a dead bee” ie, potential harm comes after the offending person is dead, or deed done; “bit” for Tuco’s dental grill. This episode marks the beginning of Jesse and Hank’s tumultuous relationship.

Why is purple so prevalent in Breaking Bad?
In Breaking Bad, Purple is primarily worn by Marie and it is used to symbolize protection, self-deception, and complete lack of involvement in the meth trade. Marie often wears the color purple to show her self-deception. Throughout the show he often tries to convince herself that she is somebody that she isn’t.
How long was Walt missing?
Well, he was back on his 52nd birthday, so it could only have been a few months, right? Walter Jr. Was still in high school and 10 months away from his 18th birthday. Walt came back 14 months after Jesse, Gus and Mike went to Mexico.
Why did Walt leave the hospital?
He rather hates himself for that sometimes. This scene had a quiet bookend in a later moment. Walt improbably breaks out of the hospital to return home and re-hide the money he hid in the diaper box in the wall vent. (Presumably, he won’t need easy transport for the cash any time soon now that Tuco’s dead.)
Why was Walt naked in a grocery store?
Still a great episode that has many great moments. Walt and Jesse return back, but they need to come up with ideas of what they say happened to them. Walt ends up naked in some supermarket pretending it was a sort of a medical situation and Jesse tries to find good alibi, although Hank makes it hard for him.
