How do I request a call back from PDSA?
If you are a PDSA client and need to book a non-urgent appointment, please use our call back request form. To find out if you’re eligible for PDSA care please visit our eligibility checker. If you’re concerned about your pet and think it may be an emergency, please contact your vet immediately.
Can you register 2 dogs with PDSA?
Yes. Eligible owners can register one pet for our free veterinary services, any additional pets can be registered for our reduced cost service. There is no limit to the number of pets eligible owners can register for our reduced cost service.
What proof do you need for PDSA?
Before we can register you as a PDSA client, we need you to upload copies of your benefit documents and Photo ID so we can confirm you are eligible for our charity services. Benefit documents you can use to register for our FREE service are: Universal credit with housing element.
Will the PDSA neuter my dog?
We are currently unable to offer all preventive treatments, such as neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, at every PDSA Pet Hospital. If we’re not able to provide these services at your local Pet Hospital, we’d still recommend that you get these done at a local vet.
Can I just turn up at PDSA?
If you have recently registered with PDSA, please be aware you will need to wait 24 hours from initial registration to use our appointment request form. If you want to request an appointment before this please give our National Contact Centre a call on 0800 731 2502 (lines are open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday).

PDSA offers free veterinary treatments and medications to pet owners who live within the catchment area of one of its hospitals and are in receipt of at least one of the following means-tested benefits: housing benefit, council tax support or universal credit with a housing element.
