One of the most popular places to visit in Kenya is Giraffe Manor, a 12-room boutique hotel where guests can feed giraffes over breakfast. But the Manor is exclusive and expensive, costing $620 per person per night, and that’s if you can even get a room.

as far as I know only guests staying at the hotel have access to the giraffes. They do not allow day visitors. However, down the road is a wildlife sanctuary where all the giraffe ‘hang out’ and apparently you can feed them and have a lovely encounter with them there too.

The Giraffe Centre opens daily from 9 am – 5 pm. This includes weekends and Public Holidays and judging by our experience, the best time to visit the giraffe centre is between the hours of 9 and 10 am.
