Is Double Lifelink a thing?
702.15f Multiple instances of lifelink on the same object are redundant. Lifelink is currently worded as a static ability that causes lifegain as a consequence of the damage; since there’s only one damage event here, there can only be one lifegain event no matter how many lifelinks there are.
Can you stack Lifelink?
Nope, multiple lifelinks don’t stack. You’ll gain 5 life. In general, the only keyword abilities that stack are triggered abilities like extort and exalted (look for the words at/when/whenever in the reminder text), for which you’ll get one trigger per instance of the ability.
Can you have double Lifelink MTG?
Nope. Multiple instances of “lifelink” on a creature are redundant (they don’t stack).
How does Lifelink work with multiple blockers?
If exactly one creature is blocking it, it assigns all its combat damage to that creature. If two or more creatures are blocking it, it assigns its combat damage to those creatures according to the damage assignment order announced for it. This may allow the blocked creature to divide its combat damage.
Does Lifelink trigger separately?
Each creature with lifelink dealing combat damage causes a separate life-gaining event. For example, if two creatures you control with lifelink deal combat damage at the same time, Vito’s first ability will trigger twice and you may choose a different opponent for each trigger.
Does blocking double strike work?
Yes, double strike and first strike work while blocking. Effectively, there is a “first strike combat damage step” in which one set of double strike damage is dealt, and then a normal combat damage step, where all other combat damage is dealt.
Does Deathtouch cancel Lifelink?
No. Deathtouch makes any amount lethal but you’re still only dealing 1, so you only gain 1. No, you gain life equal to the amount of damage your creature dealt, which is 1. Deathtouch makes that 1 damage enough to destroy (kill) the other creature, but does not change the amount of damage dealt.
How is damage assigned to multiple blockers?
If multiple creatures block the same attacker, the attacking player orders those blockers to show which is first in line for that attacker’s damage, which is second, and so on. This is all part of the “declare blockers” action. Once that’s done, players can cast spells and activate abilities.

Can you block double strike with 2 creatures?
If a double strike blocker kills the creature it’s blocking with first strike damage, it can’t then block another creature again that same combat. Blockers are assigned at the start of combat.
Does Hexproof protect against Lifelink?
As annoying as they are to play against, most lifelink creatures don’t have hexproof or protection. As such, they’re vulnerable to removal. So instead of using your burn to directly attack their opponent, remove their lifelink creatures with it instead.
