Where is the Muster? The Gympie Music Muster site is in the Amamoor State Forest, approximately 40 kilometres south-west of Gympie. It is an easy 2-hour drive north of Brisbane, just 45 minutes from Noosa and a hop, skip and a jump from Heritage Listed K’gari and the beautiful beaches of Rainbow Beach.

If arriving before Friday, each member of the group must have an Early Entry pass for the day that they arrive. Car Camping space must have at least 1 sleeping tent inside it. If you are using a Car Camping spot without a car, we encourage you to put multiple sleeping tents in that space.

Can I get mobile reception in the park? Most areas of Carnarvon National Park have little to no phone reception and therefore is limited and unreliable. The Carnarvon Gorge Visitor Information Centre offers free Wi-Fi from 8am to 4pm every day, and there is also access to a public phone 24 hours a day.
Are dogs allowed in Amamoor State Forest?
Dogs are permitted in Amamoor Creek camping area—conditions apply: Your dog must be on a leash and under control at all times. Always clean up after your dog—collect waste in a secure bag. Pack bags and a suitable storage container so you can take it away and dispose of it responsibly.
