2022 IEC season opening The pools for the 2022 season are now open. If you’re eligible, you can submit your profile. If you had a profile last season, you may not need to create a new one. We regularly invite eligible candidates from the IEC pools to apply for a work permit.

The Visitor Visa will allow you to stay in Canada for up to 6 months after your working holiday visa expires. The Import Export Code is a ten-digit number that is issued by the Director-General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce. Once the IEC application is submitted, it is granted for a lifetime. Thus, unlike most licenses, the IEC number does not expire and there is no need for renewal.
