What is the point of Key Club?
Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our members develop initiative and leadership skills by serving their schools and communities.

In addition to service work, members of Key Club in high school will also develop leadership and management skills through running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district, and international level.

Is Key Club a community based organization?
*Community-based Club In the event a school will not allow the organization of a Key Club, a community-based organization with facilities for meeting and appropriate staff for club advisement may be substituted in place of the school. Such a Key Club must bear a name that represents the community in which it exists.
How long do you have to be in a club to get a cord?

How much does it cost to start a Key Club?
Upon completion of the petition with club bylaws, set aside appropriate funds. This funds must be included in the petition: Charter Fee: $600.00 (Note: $400 chartering fee options are available however do not include all resources.)
How many honor cords can you wear?
The good news is that you don’t have to choose between a stole/sash and a cord(s); you can wear a cord and a stole/sash together and you can wear more than one cord. However, it’s not practical to wear more than one sash/stole, though some graduates may do it.
