I always keep the propane tank a safe distance from the grill, so was able to turn off the propane tank before things got worse. This should have been anticipated by Weber, and could be EASILY fixed by reinforcing (and extending!) the metal protective sleeve on the hose where it connects to the Weber grill. Poor Quality.

This Weber propane adapter hose works great. 6-foot length is very convenient and is quite flexible. Mine is connected to a 20lb tank so I don’t have to keep changing those small propane bottles on my Q series BBQ. If you use your BBQ a lot it is well worth the price.
