Mechagon has several Rare Elites spread in the present timeline and in the alternate future timeline (via Chromie). Some respawn within 10-20 minutes. Others have odd respawn timers.

Just show up and kill it. There is an add on called Rarescanner which is very handy for that, it also shows when chests appear. And it can be adjusted to show as little as you want in the various BfA zones (eg if you fly back into Tirgarde for example, you may not want it to broadcast every rare that you fly near).

Been tracking Rustfeather spawn times over several days, WM OFF, across 4 different servers. In 50 kills I have seen a range of spawn times 16-30 mins from time of last kill. The average spawn time is like 21 or 22 minutes.
How many times can you loot Rustfeather?
I recently learned that the wheel mount drops off Rustfeather. But it is a low-rate drop (Wowhead says 0.5%) and you can only kill Rustfeather for drops 1 time a day (on each character). The good news is you don’t have to do the Mechagon intro quests.
