What does Postinor 2 does in the body?
POSTINOR prevents a pregnancy before it is established by preventing or delaying the release of an egg from the ovary (by preventing ovulation) with the help of a hormone called Levonorgestrel, the same hormone found in many regular contraceptives.
What happens when you take both tablets of Postinor 2 at once?
An emergency contraceptive pill to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse – failure or incorrect use of a regular contraceptive, after rape or incest. You can either take both the tablets together or take one tablet and take the other one 12 hours later. Efficacy depends on the time of consumption.

Yes, it’s possible to get pregnant. The morning-after pill (AKA emergency contraception) can help prevent pregnancy when you take it after having unprotected sex. But, it won’t prevent pregnancy for any sex you may have after taking it.

Posology: Two tablets should be taken together, as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, and no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse (see Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics under Actions).
