Is the ROC Overstable?

Does the ROC have a bead?
People did not suggest the Shark becasue he wanted something stable like a Roc. Cro is a small diameter disc that doesn’t have the glide of a Roc, but it has no bead and is stable. Mako, Shark etc are not very stable so he doesn’t need that.

The Innova RocX3 is the most overstable version of the popular Roc midrange. Compared with other Roc versions, the X3 is a low profile and hefty rim that provide it with extra stability. Innova claims that this is the ideal midrange for windy conditions and forehand throws.

It is a nice heavy disc with a great grip, and decent glide (4), no turn (0), and a pretty heavy fade (3). It has a slow speed (4), but for me I didn’t really notice much loss in distance compared with the drivers I normally use.

Flat top Rocs are one of the most loved Rocs ever made. They have a great flat feel and they start off pretty stable then beat into a nice hyzerflip midrange disc. The Roc is a beaded disc and has been thrown by just about every Innova legend ever. It is a workhorse midrange if there ever was one.
