Is it better to do Wonderland Trail clockwise or counterclockwise?
Traditionally people hike clockwise. In this direction the ascents aren’t quite as steep and many people like that reprieve, however, the descents are a bit more knee-jarring. If you want to hike the more joint-friendly direction (which is what I chose to do), you can hike counter-clockwise.
