Current service status The Land train and the Land Rover are now running for the season. Running daily from 10am until 5pm (weather dependent).

The land train runs daily from 10am until 5pm (with the last train coming back from the Spit at 5:30pm). Buy your land train tickets from the guard on the train. Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions we are taking card payments only on the train.

Is it worth going to Kew Gardens?
These are lovely gardens to spend a few hours. Take the tram ride around, it takes 40 minutes and gives you a great overview of the gardens & you can hop on & off where you want.
Is the Yorkshire Belle dog friendly?
We do allow well behaved dogs on board – but remember to keep them on a leash and under the seat if at all possible. It is at the discretion of the Skipper whether or not to allow dogs on the trips, so please do check before sailing. Saloon bar selling hot and cold drinks, alcoholic drinks, crisps and chocolates.

No – the RHS and Kew don’t have a reciprocal arrangement. I’m a member of both and have just double-checked the info for you and it’s a no. Currently 10% off if you belong to HRP (Historic Royal Palaces) though, if that helps!
Does Kew Gardens have a railway station?
The nearest train station to Kew Gardens is Kew Gardens Rail station which can be reached from Richmond, however often, Kew Bridge Rail Station is more convenient with a direct service from London Waterloo. From Kew Bridge station it is a 10-minute walk to Kew Gardens.
