We do not offer a discounted family ticket for Chessington World of Adventures Resort, however we offer discounted rates for all those 3 years and over if you booking in advance online. Children under 3 enter free!
Is Chessington good for 13 year olds?
Good for 7 – 13 year olds, great if you have two days, but DO NOT EVER PAY FULL PRICE! Haven’t been to Chessington for about 10 years,its not changed much,but it does now look a little bit tatty and in need of a wash and coat of paint, and the rides just arn’t that great, and three where broken anyway! So check first.
Is Chessington good for 12 year olds?
Great for 8 – 12 year olds. Whilst it is seems expensive and you have to queue for significant periods of time for some rides, Chessington World of Adventures has been a fantastic destination for our kids (now aged 12 and 9) over the past 3 years.
How long are the queues at Chessington?
When we got in, like most theme parks the queues were averageing 60 minutes with rides lasting about 2 – 3 minutes, so be prepare to entertain your kids if they are young!

Do you need two days at Chessington?
First things first, when it says the park closes at 6pm, it doesn’t! The queues for the rides close at 6pm, but at any time up to that point, you can join the queue and ride the ride.
Is Thorpe Park suitable for 11 year olds?
Thorpe Park is aimed at older children/young adults. Most of the bigger rides are 1.4m height restriction…but there is plenty to do for those smaller.

The park is suitable for all ages, including families with young children. Most rides and attractions are only restricted by height. Smaller children usually have to be accompanied by an adult over 16 years old.
