If you haven’t been playing for, oh I dunno, 6 months atleast, I’d say hold off on learning slap. It’s not good to learn slap unless you can play bass decently already, and most everyone thinks they are decent but there’s no chance in hell you’re decent before 6 months of practice no matter how much you think you are.
