If you’ve never heard of Carberry you might wonder what it does. This ROM essentially allows you to remap any Impreza Turbo model from 2001 – 2005 and add additional features such as Launch Control, Anti-Lag and Knock Warning.
How do I use FreeSSM?
Installation:
- Insert the CD.
- Install the included drivers and FreeSSM.
- Open FreeSSM and in the Preferences, select the correct COM Port (Can be found within Windows Device Manger, under ‘Ports’)
- Plug in the OBD Cable, turn the ignition to ON. Click ‘Test Diagnostic Interface’ to confirm operation.
